Most people don't realize how easy it is to create a chalkboard. All you have to do is buy the paint which comes in green brown or black and roll or brush it on! I have had so much fun with this in children's rooms and kitchens, and even as an accent wall in a conference room! In my new book I will also give you the formula to make chalkboard paint so that you can have it in any color that you like!

Love this - I had dead wall space in my kitchen but didn't want the typical green chalkboard color. Home Depot has it in a variety of 8 or 9 colors. Mine is a mossy green -- but they have rasberry, periwinkle, blue, red, etc. It's great. I love the concept. Mines in my kitchen and is a hit at parties - I leave the chalk out and you find out who the creative people are. Love this room you posted.
