Hey, everyone! Wow! I have been so busy building that I haven't been able to blog. Please forgive me. I will start sharing lots of Sassy Tips with you on how you can revamp any space with any budget. Today's tip is to use laminated glass for a backsplash rather than tile. It's a great look, very clean ( no grout lines), and not expensive at all!

Chalkboard Paint

Most people don't realize how easy it is to create a chalkboard. All you have to do is buy the paint which comes in green brown or black and roll or brush it on! I have had so much fun with this in children's rooms and kitchens, and even as an accent wall in a conference room! In my new book I will also give you the formula to make chalkboard paint so that you can have it in any color that you like!

Here is a perfect example of what a huge transformation that paints and stains can bring to a space! That is all that I did to transform this room. I even painted the brass light fixture black!
